Josy Bandecchi has learned provencal cooking
by herself.
Mediterranean women, with a father from Nice and an armenian mother, she
has been developping a local true provencal cooking for 30 years, cooking
according to seasons.
She created her restaurant 35 years ago.
An entrepreneur soul : she opened her first shop in the old town of Nice
when she was 18 years old..
Great working abilities : She learned the job in her father's brasserie
open at night for farmers from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. She was 20 years old.

She created JOSY - JO in 1970 with her husband
Jo (retired now) who already had a small restaurant in the village.
Ambitious, she wanted to have a bigger and better located business..
Independant, she decided to replace the Chef and she's still the Chef
now !
Her dertermination and ambition allowded her to enter the Great Chef's
world :
She created the "Olive tree" festival in Cagnes sur Mer, where
internationally famous Chef cook and offer a tasting meal.
She joined Joël ROBUCHON T.V show « Bon Appétit Bien
Sûr » and had a show on a famous french cooking programm.

Thirst to development drove her to the Town Hall. Working with the
mayor she fights for her town.
